A Yoga Trapeze is a prop-based inversion yoga class and offers the best of what you can’t achieve in a gravity yoga class. It’s therapeutic for back pain, helps you move freely by putting in less effort and counteracting gravity. Staying suspended in the air releases tension in the bones and muscles and increases flexibility. It strengthens core muscles and increases spinal and shoulder flexibility. There is a lot more fun having inversion poses in the air.
Benefits of practicing Yoga Trapeze
-
Traction:
The yoga trapeze creates natural, body weight traction – the safest and most effective kind. -
Back and Core Strengthening:
For dynamic, deep core strength, nothing compares to inverted, gravity resistance training. -
Flexibility: Just hang back, grab your ankles and chill out. This is the safest, deepest backbend you could ever do unassisted (and painless). You will make flexibility gains effortlessly.
- Live Pain-free: Your lower back is most susceptible to injury. - Fun in the air: You want to enjoy the fun in the air. Reap the functional benefits pulling, pushing, holding, twists, backbends, forward bends, hip opening and core strengthening.
What is Traction?
Traction is a term used by orthopedic and chiropractic doctors to describe any treatment that pulls or lengthens the spine apart. Strength and flexibility training are a crucial part of this process, but nothing is as immediate and obvious as hanging upside down.
With age, inactivity, overuse, and muscle imbalance from modern life, most adults have some degree of disc degeneration (osteoarthritis), and with each passing year. 80% population of the world are having back pain. Spinal care becomes more important in today’s digital lifestyle.
